Finding freedom from the diet roller coaster
For years, I felt trapped in a cycle of yo-yo dieting and endless frustration. I tried everything: low-fat diets, calorie counting, gluten-free plans, and working out hard. None of it worked long term. I was still exhausted, hungry, and carrying a lot of weight, both physically and emotionally.
I knew there had to be a better way, but the "eat less, move more" advice was never the answer. It wasn't until I discovered the connection between blood sugar balance, insulin resistance, and how food affects our bodies that everything finally clicked. It was like finding the missing puzzle piece I'd been searching for my entire life.
Getting rooted in new habits
I started small, gradually reducing my intake of processed carbs and focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods. As my energy returned and my cravings began to fade, I realized I was on to something. When I decided to explore low carb, then keto, my body truly transformed.
My blood sugar stabilized. My prediabetes reversed. I experienced freedom from constant hunger for the first time in years, and I lost nearly 100 pounds. I wasn't just losing weight, I was regaining my health, my confidence, and my sense of control.
Why I coach
Once I felt what real, sustainable change was like, I couldn't keep it to myself. I became a Certified Health Coach and Low Carb Wellness Educator so I could help other women find the same freedom, without the restriction, guilt, or starting over every Monday.
